The giant makarapas have been erected on two 11-metre high spheres in the Piazza at FNB Bank City encapsulating the excitement and colour of the tournament ahead of the official kickoff on June 11. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Over 500 metres of steel tubing and more than a 100 litres of paint were used to create the vibrant structures, generating an atmospheric vibe in the inner city ahead of the world&amp;#39;s greatest tournament to be held in Africa. &lt;/p&gt;
